Assignment Policies

Please read the following carefully!

All work must be submitted on time to receive a grade. Late work will not be accepted. Consider that you are working on a team and the team cannot proceed if you do not deliver your share of the work on time.

Quizzes are online in Blackboard and must be completed before the start of class on the day they are due.

Project assignments are due before midnight (i.e. by 11:59pm) on the day they are due unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Academic Dishonesty

All work on assignments, exams, and quizzes is to be done independently by the student except when explicitly directed otherwise. No code or documentation may be shared between students. Code from the textbook or in examples given in class or included with projects may be used with acknowledgement. Code may not be included from any other source unless specifically allowed by the instructor and acknowledged in documentation. Students who copy from each other or from any other source will be considered to be cheating as will students who allow their work to be copied.

Any violation of these or any other University policies regarding academic dishonesty is grounds for immediate failure of the course and will be reported.
