Jidong Xiao joined the Computer Science Department at Boise State University as an Assistant Professor in 2016. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from College of William and Mary, where he was advised by Dr. Haining Wang. His research interests are mainly in cyber security, with a particular emphasis on operating system security and virtualization/cloud security. Jidong also has approximately 6 years industry experience, including various roles at Intel, Symantec, Nokia, and Juniper.
