Copying a directory to a CD or DVD

On machines that are equipped with a CD/DVD burner, you can copy files to the CD using the program k3b. All machines in the lab have CD/DVD burners.

Startup the DVD/CD burner program k3b either typing in k3b in a console or search from the K menu \bgroup\color{blue}$\rightarrow$\egroup Applications \bgroup\color{blue}$\rightarrow$\egroup Multimedia menu.
